West Indies: The Rising Stars Men’s U17 cricket championship has been set for Trinidad from August 14 to September 2, 2024. The tournament will be held in two formats including 2 day and 50 over cricket matches and the six teams will participate for one coveted title.
Windies cricket have also unveiled the fixtures for men’s U17 tournament and stated that the live broadcast will be held on Youtube.
As per the schedule, from August 14 to 15, 2024, three matches will be held at different venues including:
- First match: Jamaica vs Barbados at NCC
- Second match: Trinidad and Tobago vs Guyana at Inshaan Ali Park
- Third Match: Windward vs Leeward Island at Gilbert Park
For August 17 and 18, 2024, the schedule for three matches will look like this:
- First match: Leeward Islands vs Guyana at NCC
- Second match: Windward Islands vs Jamaica at Gilbert Park
- Third Match: Trinidad and Tobago vs Barbados at Inshaan Ali Park
From August 21 to 22, 2024, the schedule of three matches will be:
- First match: Trinidad and Tobago vs Windward Islands at NCC
- Second match: Barbados vs Guyana at Gilbert Park
- Third Match: Jamaica vs Leeward Islands at Inshaan Ali Park
For 50 over formats, the schedule of the matches will be:

The matches will decide the winner from both the formats and Windies Cricket invited the patrons to witness the staging of the championships. The aim behind the tournament is to enhance cricketing skills across the West Indies and make the cricketers pave their path towards the national West Indies team.
