Antigua and Barbuda: Sprinter of Antigua and Barbuda- Cejhae Greene lost his chance to qualify for the next round of the Men’s 100 metres at 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday. He finished fourth in the heat 8 of the event with a time of 10.17 seconds.
The first position in the men’s 100 metres was secured by USA’s Fred Kerley with a time of 9.97 seconds, while the second position was won by Letsile Tebogo of Botswana who finished the race at 10.01 seconds.
Great Britain’s Zharnel Hudhes won the third position and advanced to the semi-finals of the men’s 100 metres at 2024 Paris Olympics Games. He finished the race at 10.03 seconds. Antiguan athlete was unable to qualify for the semi-final as only the top three in each heat get the chance to advance to the next round.
Antigua and Barbuda is being represented by five athletes including Cejhae Greene who participated in men’s 100m athletics, Tiger Tyson who participated in Sailing, Ellie Shaw for 100m breaststroke in swimming, Joella LIoyd from 100m athletics and the last athlete was Jadon Wuilliez who participated in the 100m breaststroke in the swimming.
The event for Antigua and Barbuda began on August 1, 2024 as the athletic will run through August 11, 2024. The sailing will be held from August 4 to 9, 2024 and the swimming has started on July 27, 2024 and will run through August 4, 2024.

Cejhae Greene has been positioned at the top left of the announcement and has competed in the 100m sprint event on Friday.
Tiger Tyson has been featured in the centre and showcased his skills in Kiteboarding. Ellie Shaw was located at the top right and will swim in the 100m Breaststroke. Joella LIyod joined the athletics team and competed in the 100m sprint.
Jadon Wuilliez positioned at the bottom right and will compete in the 100m swimming.
