Trinbago Knight Riders make a huge victory over the St. Kitts and Nevis team with 7 wickets and 9 balls remaining. The match was held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba, where huge numbers of fans were gathered. After TKR won the match, there was a vibrant and energetic atmosphere amongst its fans.
Fans of TKR were all dressed up in TKR jerseys to show their love and support for the team. Trinabgo Knight Riders won the toss and chose to field first. Their fielding lineup consisted of great bowlers. Akeal Hosein and Jayden Seales took one wicket each, whereas Chris Jordan took two wickets effortlessly.
St. Kitts and Nevis performed well with their excellent batting lineup and scored 193/4. Andre Fletcher, Captain of St. Kitts and Nevis, ranked highest with 93 runs, followed by Kyle Mayers with a good 60 runs. Together, the team made runs and also saved six wickets during the match. TKR got a target of 194, which they had to make in 20 overs.
Nicholas Pooran remained ‘Not Out’ during the whole match and scored a massive 93 runs. Jason Roy also contributed 60 runs with his bat, and together, they took their team to the victory lap. Though bowlers of St. Kitts and Nevis gave tough competition to the batters of TKR, they were unsuccessful in stopping them from winning the match.
The ‘Player of the Match’ title was given to Nicholas Pooran for his outstanding contribution to the match. He remained not out till the end and made a strong partnership with his team players. Kieron Pollard, captain of TKR, stood with Nicholas Pooran during the last overs of the match. Though he didn’t contribute much with his bat, he gave solid space to Nicholas so he could make runs.
A Facebook handle posted about the victory of TKR over St. Kitts and Nevis. He expressed the beauty of the stadium when the TKR ended the match with 9 balls remaining. The fans expressed their happiness both on and off the ground.

TKR will now face St. Lucia Kings in their upcoming match scheduled on 24 September 2024. At the same time, St. Kitts and Nevis will end their journey of CPL 2024 after nine consecutive losses.
