$25,000 prize money has been declared for the Road March winner of the International carnival in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The International Carnival in St. Kitts and Nevis offers a $25,000 award for the best Road March song.

St. Kitts and Nevis will welcome the New Year with International Carnival 2024-2025. The carnival will begin from the 13th of December till the 2nd of January 2025. The registration windows are open for people who wish to enter the competition and the deadline for registration is 1st of October. The International Carnival announced the cash prize amount for Road March Title, which is $ 25,000.

The deadline for the release and submission of Road March songs is the 1st of November. The Road March songs are to be submitted to two radio stations located in St. Kitts and Nevis. The songs will stream on Meta music platforms like Instagram Music Library and Facebook Music Library. The deadline for publishing Road March songs is the 15th of November. The registration is open on the official website of St. Kitts and Nevis International Carnival.

Strict rules have been mentioned which say, the songs should not include explicit and distasteful lyrics. Any words, phrases, and clauses found to be distasteful will result in disqualification. The rules and regulations for the competition are available at the Carnival Secretariat in the E.C. Daniel Building on Cayon Street.

The Road March songs are the music compositions that are played in carnival parades in Caribbean islands. The most played song will be announced as the Road March winner with a cash prize of $ 25,000.

The Sugarmas 53 International Carnival of St. Kitts and Nevis includes entertainment, a band parade on the road, rich indigenous music of the Caribbean island, and completions like pageants, Soca Monarch, panorama, and calypso competition. People from across the world can join the festival and celebrate the New Year with Sugarmas 53 of International Carnival 2024-25 in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Bands like Grand Masters Band, Nu Vybes International Band (aka Sugar Band), Small Axe Band, and Kollision Band will perform live on the street. Several different bands compete for Road March as it is highly competitive. The title holder of the Road March wins the cash prize.

St. Kitts and Nevis offers Sugarmas packages to attract tons of visitors. The package includes a Caribbean cultural experience, luxury, and adventure. The carnival also offers the advantage of airport pickup and drop off. Besides Road March and other band parades, people can enjoy beach parties, food and drinks, VIP access, and experience the beats of Soca Monarch and Calypso. St. Kitts and Nevis offers a variety of attractions beyond the carnival. Beautiful islands, ecotourism, water adventures, and culinary are also available for visitors.
