St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew walked through the community of Conaree to meet the residents and constituents on Wednesday. He talked to the citizens and held a discussion on several matters of concerns of St Kitts and Nevis.
He shared glimpses and added that it was quite productive as the meeting with the residents provides insights on the working and functioning of the government. He said that the visits to the different communities will be continued in the coming days.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew hosts such visit to different communities to enhance his interaction with citizens and resident of St Kitts and Nevis. He added that the main aim behind such engagements is to foster the relations between the government and the public so that an efficiency and developmental path could be paved.
In the community of Conaree, several projects have been laid down in the recent times including the much-anticipated construction of the climate-smart model homes. The first two homes were constructed in the Conaree and handed over to two women.
In the month of April, the groundbreaking was held at the Conaree Playing Field to commence the work on the new football stadium. Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew inaugurated the construction and stated that the stadium will enhance the sporting structure of the country.
Members of the Conaree Community were recently given a comprehensive look at the plans to refurbish the football area of the Conaree Playing Field. It will also be transformed into a home for premier league football games.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew visited the community and spent time with the Children of Conaree community for the Easter Party. He handed over gifts and lauded the children for their engagement with him. During the party, the Easter egg hunt and party was held where the significance of the festival was outlined.
