The Government of Saint Lucia also took the initiative to rename the Millenium Highway to Julien Alfred Highway to give her important recognition in the country.
The young girl had a special and unforgettable year. She started her journey by winning the 60m title at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow in March, along with two major achievements in the Paris Olympics 2024. Julien is the first player of St. Lucia to have won a medal in the Olympics.

The Government of Saint Lucia also gave her many gifts, such as a Plot of Land measuring 10,720 square feet of her choice, along with an Official Julien Alfred stamp. This is the highest achievement any citizen could get in the country.
To ensure her image remains crucial for the people of St. Lucia, the government authorities also announced the Construction of a Monument in her honor at the Cul de Sac Roundabout. This will bring inspiration to many young children who are stuck to their goals and want to be like Julien in the future.
George Pagoulatos, the Greek Ambassador to the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, also gave a special award to Julien Alfred for her major contribution to the Olympics. This was a heartwarming moment for the young girl and her family as the Greek marks the birth of the Olympic games.
