Strong support for the startup ecosystem
At the start of the year, Spain already had 12 companies belonging to the unicorn club, companies whose valuation exceeds one billion dollars. A figure that shows the exponential growth of this business ecosystem. The difficult statistical change of the INE
Economy will remodel the dome of the INE after the directors refuse to change the methodology for calculating GDP for another system not endorsed by Eurostat to cover up the low productivity rate. Renault confirms its commitment to Spain
After launching its most ambitious industrial plan for Spain in March last year with an investment of 12,000 million, Renault now announces that the San Jerónimo factory in Seville will produce all the group’s hybrid gearboxes worldwide. The news supposes the confirmation of the bet of the French company by the Spanish plants. In fact, the new workload (400,000 units) will allow the Andalusian factory to secure and increase jobs, despite the fact that it will gradually abandon the production of manual gearbox models.
