The weather outlook for Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines reveals that both the islands are expected to witness showers as the tropical wave is approaching.
The Meteorological Services of St Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday shared an advisory, that a low risk of flooding is currently in effect and which can be later upgraded to a watch or warning.
The following information was shared by SVG Met Services in its 6:00 AM update. Also, the department issued a 72 hours weather update yesterday, which stated that the Met Services had predicted a tropical wave that is approaching the island.
It further stated, that the moderate to heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms can be experienced by the residents from Friday noon.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services added that it is due to the previous rains that has led to the wet soils across the islands. Also, there is a high chance in the occurrence of landslides and flooding.
