Antigua and Barbuda will celebrate their 43rd Independence Day on 1 November 2024 under the Theme “From Community Collaboration To Global Gains.” To celebrate their Independence Day in full swing, they will begin their Pre-Independence festivities on 23 October 2024 and will continue them till 1 November 2024.
Starting on 23 October, there will be Barbuda Day activities that will involve various fun games and activities. Furthermore, there will be competition for business decoration amongst the local people, which will increase their creativity. Also, in order to bring nationwide unity among the people, there will be a National Youth rally at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium.
Various other important events will be held in the country, such as National Dress Day, National Heroes Day, and National Flag Day, which will mark the patriotism of the people. These days are also important as they will pay tribute to all the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. Many school programs will be conducted to teach the values of freedom, sacrifice, unity, and togetherness to children for their long-term performance.

The flag ceremony will begin at 8 AM at the Sir Vivian Richard Cricket Stadium, along with the Food flair and Ceremonial parade event.
